• carrier inventory, activation support or financing terms;
• a Pixel 11-specific battery, heat, camera, charging or connectivity problem.

Before you pre-order

Use the waiting period for decisions that do not require an unconfirmed specification:

1. Back up the phone you use now. Confirm the latest photos, messages and account data are present in the backup you intend to use.
2. Review your carrier account. Know whether the line uses a physical SIM or eSIM and whether account-holder approval is required for a transfer.
3. Find the old phone’s screen-lock PIN. Current Pixel setup guidance uses it to authorize parts of the move.
4. Check your storage use. The amount selected for transfer must fit on the new phone.
5. Keep a compatible USB-C cable. Wireless transfer may be offered, but a known-good cable gives you another option.

What Phone Help will update after launch

Release information and troubleshooting evidence are separate. After devices reach users, Phone Help will compare:
