What qualifies for coverage
An official acknowledgment can establish a clear starting point. Independently reproducible evidence or credible repeated reports can also justify investigation, provided the exact model, conditions and a safe answer are identified. A rumor or one unexplained image is not enough to label a problem common.
The evidence state must match the claim. A community report is not an official confirmation; an investigation is not a diagnosis; and a claimed fix needs a defined version and scope before it is called resolved.
What a useful report contains
Record the model, software version, affected function, when it began and whether it repeats. Explain what remains usable and any relevant accessory or carrier conditions. Do not disclose passwords, confirmation codes, personal messages or full account identifiers.
- Observed symptom rather than an assumed cause.
- Exact device and software scope.
- Reproduction conditions and available evidence.
- Safe checks already tried, without destructive escalation.
Why we do not prefill a fault catalog
Copying battery, Wi-Fi and camera articles from unrelated phones would imply evidence we do not have. The legacy topics have been retired, not renamed into Duo failures. New issue URLs require their own justification and cannot be manufactured simply to fill a navigation section.
For a real hardware hazard such as swelling, deformation or an unusual smell, stop use and obtain qualified support. Do not wait for a general article to validate a safety concern or attempt to reproduce it yourself.
How corrections and resolutions work
A new source can change a claim’s status. We retain the affected scope and explain what changed rather than silently converting a report into a confirmed issue. A software update name alone is not proof that every similar symptom was fixed.
This hub currently provides the evaluation method and links to preparation and official sources. It does not promise live monitoring or accept private diagnostic files.
