Separate structure from perception
A folding surface and the hinge beneath it have different roles. A description of hinge engineering does not by itself measure reflected light or what a finger feels across the screen. Likewise, a single strongly lit photograph cannot describe every viewing angle.
The useful question is whether the folding area distracts from your own tasks. Reading a light document, watching darker video and drawing across the center are different conditions. Evaluate them separately when a retail demonstration becomes available.
How to assess evidence
Prefer footage that states the light direction, screen content and viewing angle. Look for an explanation of the method rather than a cropped image with an absolute claim. A reviewer should disclose whether the device is retail hardware and how long it has been used.
- Compare normal viewing angles, not only an extreme reflection.
- Keep touch feel separate from visible reflections.
- Do not press the center to test how much force it tolerates.
Do not diagnose a defect from uncertainty
A visual question does not establish a common failure. If a real device develops a sudden change, lines, lifting or an unusual resistance, document the conditions without forcing it and consult qualified support. Do not peel an integral screen layer or attempt to flatten it.
This page will change when suitable evidence exists. Until then, a responsible buying decision can include waiting; it does not require inventing either a flawless result or a widespread problem.
